IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed, including the following:
1. Read all instructions carefully.
2. Before using the rice cooker, check if the voltage indicated
corresponds with the electric outlet (230Va.c.).
3. Do not use two-way socket with other appliance.
4. Do not use any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord is
damaged, it should be replaced with the same type and size or bring
the unit to the nearest authorized service center.
5. In case of malfunctions, please bring the Rice Cooker to nearest
Imarflex Customer Service Center to obtain evaluation and repair.
6. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person
responsible for their safety.
7. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
8. Keep curtains, furniture, flammable materials, etc. away from the
Rice Cooker.
9. Keep the bottom part of the inner pot and heater plate clean.
10. Use the rice cooker only with the supplied inner pot. Do not use the
inner pot for other purpose.
11. Do not use the inner pot on direct fire.
12. Do not place the rice cooker near gas stove or electric burner.
13. Put the rice cooker on stable surface; keep it away from the edge of
counter to avoid accident.
14. Do not sling the power cord while the rice cooker is in use.
15. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the base in water.
16. Do not use the rice cooker for outdoor use.
17. Keep the Rice Cooker in a dry and cool place

DESCRIPTION OF PARTS
HOW TO USE
NOTE: DO NOT USE THE UNIT IF POT IS DENTED.
1. In a separate bowl, measure the desired amount of rice with the
measuring cup supplied with the unit. Wash the rice several times
until the water in the bowl is relatively clear.
- One cup of rice measures 0.18L (about 150g)
2. Put the rice into the inner pot and measure water for cooking.
- Use waterline inside the pot as cooking guide. The left line
corresponds to liters of water the right line corresponds to cups
of rice.
- Never add water higher than the maximum water line.
3. Wipe the heater and the bottom part of the inner pot then put it
inside the rice cooker, turns it slightly from left to right to
ensure that the pot is properly fitted into the heater plate, level
the rice.
4. When ready to use, plug the unit into the convenience outlet.
5. Press down the switch knob. The “cook” light will turn ON and rice
will start to cook.
- If the switch knob failed to push down, the “warm” light will turn
ON, the rice will not be cooked.
6. When cooking is finished the switch knob will pop-up and a click
sound will be heard, and the light will turn to “warm” position.
- After the cooking cycle ends, keep the cover closed for about 15
minutes. The rice will be fluffier.
7. Use only the spatula supplied with this unit to avoid scratches.
