取り扱い上のご注意
• 本機は防じん、防滴、防水仕様ではありません。
• 火災、感電の原因となることがありますので以下にご注意ください。
–分解や改造をしない
–ぬれた手で使用しない
–内部に水や異物（金属類や燃えやすい物など）を入れない
– 水滴のかかる場所など湿気の多い場所やほこり、油煙、湯気の多
い場所では使わない
• 破損や不具合の原因となる場合がありますので以下にご注意くだ
さい。
– 本機は精密機器のため、落としたり、たたいたり、強い衝撃を与え
ない
– 本機を押しつぶす、曲げる、穴をあける、粉砕するなどの機械的衝
撃を与えない
– 高温多湿の場所での使用、保存を避ける
–屋外使用するときは、雨や海水にぬれないようにする
•内部点検や修理は相談窓口にご依頼ください。
• 落としたり、液体がかかったりしないように丁寧に扱ってください。
•マイクコードを強く引っ張ると断線の原因となります。プラグを抜
くときは、プラグを持って抜いてください。
使いかた

プラグを録音機器のプラグインパワー方式対
応のマイク端子につなぐ。（

•ロックリングに対応していない機器をお使いの場合は、本機を
使用中にロックリングが音を立てないように、反時計回りに締め
て固定してください。

ホルダークリップで、襟や胸ポケットなどに留
める。（

•ホルダークリップには衣服保護のためのチューブが装着されて
いますが、外さずにそのままご使用ください。
ウインドスクリーンについて
本機には、2種類のウインドスクリーンが付属しています。
•メタルウインドスクリーン（装着済み）
ウインドスクリーンをあまり目立たせたくない場合に使用します。
•ファーウインドスクリーン
特に風音を防止したい場合に使用します。
ファーウインドスクリーンを使用するときは、必ずメタルウインド
スクリーンを取り外してください。
また、取り付けたファーウインドスクリーンを取り外す際は、ファー
だけを引っ張らずに、ウインドスクリーンの土台部分を一緒につか
んで引っ張ってください。
ご注意
メタルウインドスクリーンまたはファーウインドスクリーンを取り外
す際は、コードを持たないでください。マイク本体の根元を持って、ウ
インドスクリーンを回さずにまっすぐ上へ引っ張ってください。
ホルダークリップの取り外しかた
ウインドスクリーンを外した状態で、ホルダークリップのバネ部分を
つまんで輪を広げ、取り外してください。

Notes on use
• This unit is not dust-proof, splash-proof, or waterproof.
• To avoid the risk of a fire or an electric shock, observe the
following:
– Do not disassemble or alter this unit.
– Do not use this unit with wet hands.
– Do not allow ingress of water or foreign matters (metal,
flammable substances, etc.) to this unit.
– Do not use this unit in a place subject to water splashes, high
humidity, dust, oil fumes, and steam.
• To avoid the risk of damage or a malfunction, observe the
following:
– This unit is precision equipment. Do not drop the unit, hit it,
or subject it to a strong physical impact.
– Do not subject this unit to mechanical shock such as
crushing, bending, puncturing or shredding.
– Do not use or store this unit in a place subject to high
temperatures and humidity.
– When using this unit outdoors, keep the unit from exposure
to rain or seawater.
• For interior inspection and repair of this unit, contact your Sony
dealer or local authorized Sony service facility.
• Handle this unit with care to avoid the risk of dropping it or
letting it exposed to liquid.
• Always hold the plug when disconnecting. Pulling the cord may
cause it to snap.
Using this unit
1 Connect the plug to the microphone jack
of a plug-in-power system recording
device. (

• If your recording device is not compatible with the locking
ring, tighten the locking ring counterclockwise to prevent it
from making noise during use.
2 Clip the microphone on your clothing, such
as a lapel or a pocket, with the holder clip.

• A tube is attached to the holder clip for clothing protection.
Use it as is without removing the tube.
About the wind screens
This unit comes with two wind screens.
• Metal wind screen (attached)
Use the metal wind screen when you want to keep it in a rather
low profile.
• Fur wind screen
Use the fur wind screen especially when you want to prevent
wind noise.
Be sure to remove the metal wind screen when using the fur
wind screen.
When removing the fur wind screen you attached, grasp both
the fur part and the base of the fur wind screen, and pull it
straight up.
Note
When removing the metal wind screen or the fur wind screen, do
not hold the cord. Hold the base of the microphone and pull the
wind screen straight up without twisting it.
Removing the holder clip
With the wind screen removed, pinch the spring portion of the
holder clip to widen the loop and remove the holder clip.
